A classic shaker style, three-sided raised wooden dog bed in Oak. Hand crafted in Cornwall using traditional joinery techniques. The bed is raised from the ground to protect from drafts, there is a front board to keep the mattress firmly in place. The base is made from birch plywood to provide rigidity and strength to the frame. Ventilation holes provide aeration for the natural mattress to help prevent odours.
The supremely comfortable mattress is made from natural fibres including coir, sheep's wool, recycled denim and natural latex and the covers are UK made from washable robust organic cotton.

How to Measure your dog
It is important to measure your dog to ensure his or her new bed is a comfortable fit and encourages their natural sleeping position. Please note, the dog beds are hand made to order and cannot be returned if the sizing is incorrect. Breed descriptions are given as an indication, but individual dogs or whether they are a bitch or a dog can vary in size enormously. So please measure you dogand select the correct internal mattress size.
Measure from the top of the forehead, just in front of the ears to the base of its tail, whilstin a natural standing position. If your dog’s natural sleeping position is too ‘sprawl’, add another 20cm if your dog is more of a ‘curler’ add 10cm. This will give you a minimum length measurement.
Measure the height of your dog to the withers (the highest point of the shoulder blades at the base of the neck) add 5cm. This will give you the minimum depth measurement.
