Good Causes

We recognise the crucial importance of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) which we have distilled into 5 overarching areas of categorisation to highlight and support so many good causes across Land, Air, Ocean, People and Animals.

Every product sold on the platform is associated with a charity/good cause. Every time you buy a product from our platform we donate at least 1% of our turnover to good causes for people and the planet. We are also members of 1% for The Planet.

The UN SDG's

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

One of the key features of Ateliers Verts® is its promotion of Good Causes such as charities & NGO’s. Ateliers Verts® is committed to promoting these good causes by raising their profiles and where possible, generating an income for them. In that regard we have distilled the 17 SDGs into 5 overarching areas of categorisation: Land, Air, Ocean, People, Animals.

Land

We need to protect all Life on Land (SDG 15) with Clean Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9). Here are the Good Causes related to Land based issues Good Causes-Land

Air

Ocean

We need to protect the Ocean not only does it provide the world with oxygen but it's a resource for billions of people worldwide. All Life Below Water is precious (SDG 14) as is water quality. Here are the Good Causes related to Ocean based issues Good Causes-Ocean

People

Animals

Animals are an indicator of our impact of the planet. We depend on their survival and we have a duty of care to protect all Life on Land (15) and all Life Below Water (14) Here are the Good Causes related to Animal based issues Good Causes-Animals

Our commitment

We are committed to providing unbiased information around sustainability and carefully curating high end sustainable and eco conscious branded products.

We are committed to highlighting the Good Causes being carried out by Charities, NGO's and Corporate Organisations who are doing so much to achieve the SDG's.

We pledge to donate at least 1% of our turnover of our sales to selected Good Causes in addition to the support which may be contributed directly by the brands themselves.

We are committed to doing our best to investigate the eco claims of products and use our Product Rating System to clearly highlight those claims with the AV 1 to 5 star icons.
