Produced in France by the last French manufacturer of acetate, their cellulose acetate is an organic resin composed of cotton flowers and wood beads, chosen for its hypoallergenic properties, its resistance, its aesthetic possibilities and its modernity.
This sustainable and responsible material is biodegradable and not derived from petrochemicals. It is composed of 70% plant fibers. They do not use any plastic in their products.
This encounter between innovative material and centuries-old know-how is the perfect mirror of the philosophy of La Bonne Brosse.
Among them are hairstylists who have styled the biggest French stars, as well as international icons like Dua Lipa on tour and Emma Stone at the Oscars. The renowned Peter Lux, a highly sought-after hairstylist abroad, even created a viral video about their exclusive collaboration with Augustinus Bader.
Imported from Southeast Asia, our fibers are natural, light and dense, allowing for very fine hair brushing.
Made from 100% keratin (like your hair!), the fibers of our boar hairbrushes are particularly hypoallergenic, resistant, and prevent static electricity.
Because boar bristles have unique conditioning properties for your hair and no satisfactory vegan equivalent, they took particular care to verify their origin and the conditions under which they were extracted. They were vigilant about the collection of the boar bristles used in La Bonne Brosse, ensuring that they came from a largely artisanal, rather than industrial, operation. They also took special care in selecting these bristles, using only the "first cut" of the boar bristle—that is, its root, which is very rich in keratin and provides unparalleled styling power.
The comfort and quality of hair brushing are closely linked to the flexibility and rebound, called "shore", of the rubber that supports the hairbrush bristles.
They therefore chose the softest Shore A quality. The one that offers the perfect rebound for our brushes and a break-free, ultra-comfortable brushing experience. And finally, one that perfectly conforms to the curves of the head and neck.
The Pouch: Made from 100% GOTS cerified Organic Cotton
La Bonne Brosse: Refined since 1875, the last remaining French brush maker utilises time honoured techniques to preserve the tradition of expert craftmanship that goes into each product. Thoughtfully designed in Paris, the La Bonne Brosse line features targeted brushes for all hair types, lengths and needs to improve the overall health of tresses.
