Château Peyrassol Organic Rosé Côtes de Provence

£29.00
Description

From the vineyards of Provence, set in the heart of a vast, unspoilt, wooded area, lies the historic Château Peyrassol. Established in 1204 by the Knights Templar, this wine is named after Philippe Austruy, who took ownership of the estate in 2001. He is a wine lover with a passion for terroirs, therefore, the grapes are farmed organically, and the vines are cared for like a grand cru. The quality of these factors is evident in this exceptional rosé blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, Mouvèdre, and Tibouren. Discover complexity and elegance in this wine, with notes of pear, apple, citrus, and white flowers, with a fresh hint of salinity. Delicious with fish ceviche, langoustine salad, or grilled fish.

Château Peyrassol

"An Amazing Terroir:

It is situated at an altitude ranging from 220 to 350 metres above sea level. Ideal conditions for a healthy temperature range during the hot summer months. The 850 hectares property is surrounded by the typically southern vegetation. Truffle oaks, white oaks, olive trees and scrubland provide dense natural protection for the vineyard, cultivated following the rules of organic farming. Finally, nestled in the foothills of the Massif des Maures, in a vast natural cirque, it is protected from the harmful humidity brought by the maritime air masses.

Organic farming:

Cereals are sown between the rows to encourage the soil to thrive, the vineyards are carefully selected, and the oldest plots are harvested by hand. Everything is done here to get the best out of our vineyard, which is set in the heart of a vast, unspoilt, wooded area."
