Description

Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in the 1950s, the Eames DSR RE plastic side chair is based on the original Eames DSR plastic chair, one of the best-known furniture designs of the twentieth century, but made from post-consumer plastic.

Featuring a curvaceous plastic seat shell and robust Eiffel Tower steel base, this simplistic yet graceful construction combines structural strength with a light and elegant form. Pair the Eames DSR RE plastic side chair with a contemporary dining table to complete your modern dining area. Available in a wide variety of base and seat shell colours, customise the Eames DSR RE* plastic side chair to blend in or stand out in your home.

*RE: Post-consumer plastic refers to plastic material, often single-use waste disposed of by consumer households and then transformed into a new product. Post-consumer plastics used by Vitra were originally manufactured into packaging for products purchased by consumers and later collected via Germany’s ‘Yellow Bag’ system before being reprocessed into new raw material.
