Cuvée N.7 Organic Rose, Domaine de la Croix Belle, 2022
Description
In 1977 Jacques and Françoise Boyer began their project to build a top-quality wine estate on the slopes of the Cévennes, just north of Béziers in Languedoc. Existing vineyards were replanted, and the cellar underwent extensive modernisation. 110 hectares of vines planted with 16 different varieties produce a diverse range of wines offering excellent value for money at all quality levels.
Tasting Notes:
Exotic white-fruit, grapefruit and peach aromas; very delicate. Bright and refreshing on the palate, yet with an ethereal weight that is the hallmark of fine rosé made in the Provençal style. Exceptional quality.
Wind is a defining characteristic of this region; the Mistral, Tramontane and Narbonnaise winds shape the vines, cooling and cleaning the grapes and creating the diurnal shifts between daytime and night-time temperatures essential for the creation of balanced, expressive wines.

La Croix Belle
"Under the Languedoc sun, the Boyer family, committed winemakers of La Croix Belle, grow their vineyard naturally, they know just how precious their terroir is.
We invest in eco-friendly innovations such as vineyard protection management through ozonated water: a 100% natural method that respects the life of the soil and the health of the plant.
After being applied onto the vine, ozonated water simply returns back to its oxygen form again, thereby helping to purify the ecosystem of the plant.
A holistic vision of sustainability:
For over 20 years, our vineyard effluents (water from the winery containing by-products from grapes and wine, subject to regulation) have been cleansed through a bamboo grove adjacent to our winery.
This natural system eliminates the need for transportation, reduces its associated impact, and naturally purifies the water. The harvested bamboo is also reused for other purposes, creating a virtuous cycle.
At La Croix Belle, we do everything we can to minimize our energy consumption and rely on natural energy!
Our winery is partially underground, and its walls are made of massive and large stone blocks from the Gard region, naturally limiting thermal exchanges.
The winery is also equipped with a Canadian well system, which naturally creates a flow of cool air that regulates the indoor temperature."
