Swarovski have a strong sustainability strategy and their 2024 report showed great progress. For example 100% of Swarovski's brass, palladium, and gold used for jewellery production at our own manufacturing sites is now from recycled sources and 77% of the energy used for the production of Swarovski Zirconia comes from renewable sources. They have launched Swarovski ReCreated™ Crystals made with breakage from their crystal manufacturing process. Multicoloured breakage is remelted and transformed into a single new shade that is of the same impeccable quality as their original product. This innovation allows them to use at least 40% fewer natural resources than for their standard crystals, reducing the environmental footprint of Swarovski ReCreated™ Crystals by a minimum 34%.

    Swarovski Foundation

The Swarovski Foundation was set up in 2013 to honour the philanthropic spirit of Daniel Swarovski, who founded the crystal business over 125 years ago in the Tyrolean Alps. It reinforces the company's commitment to philanthropy and charitable giving and has a mission to build on this heritage by supporting charitable initiatives and organisations working in three areas: fostering culture and creativity, promoting human empowerment and preserving the environment.

The Swarovski Foundation provides grants to global charity organisations to: increase access to the creative industry through education, jobs, innovation and sustainable economic growth; increase youth and gender rights through education and empowerment programmes; increase the protection of water and biodiversity through education and climate change mitigation and seeks to bring structure and good governance to all philanthropic projects to ensure positive and long-lasting social impact.
