Description

The Pencarrow Daybed can be painted in a colour of your choice.

If you would like your daybed with touches of traditional brass detailing.

The daybed offers 1/4” posts, sweeping rear top and side rails, truly capturing the mood of traditional beautifully.

A choice of 13 colours is available on all their daybeds.  Meaning you are not restricted to just black or white metal day beds.

Each daybed is hand cast to order, which brings a world of opportunities for customisation. Choose from two standard lengths (6'3 or 6'6") and two widths (2'6" or 3') or we can make the daybed to any size you require.

The Pencarrow daybeds, like all our cast iron, brass, and nickel beds, use gravity cast traditional knuckle fixings to connect the head end of the daybed with the side rails. The daybeds come with a set of handmade cushions, made by the Naturalmat  team in Devon.

The seat cushion on the daybed can either be entirely made from natural fibres for a denser, firmer feel, or with a core of individually pocketed springs for a more bouncy feel.

Each cushion set includes: 1 seat cushion; 2 back cushions; 2 bolster cushions and 2 scatter cushions.

You can mix and match the fabrics for the cushion if you would like to create a unique look for your daybed or upholster the cushions in a fabric of your choice.

The Pencarrow Daybed showcases elegance and sophistication at its best.

Hand cast at The Cornish Bed Company's Cornwall foundry and made with all the traditional fixings you would expect from an authentic re-production.

In Par, a small historic Cornish town close to St Austell, in the UK, The Cornish Bed Co is one of the last foundries to hand cast iron beds using the traditional methods. All the beds are made with cast knuckle fixings used on original Victorian beds, hand cast and poured using traditional gravity casting techniques. A beautifully handcrafted bed that will last for generations to come.

The Cornish Bed Co carries the Manufacturing Guild Mark, which has been the mark of excellence, distinguishing Britain’s top furnishing manufacturers, since 1993.
