The Vegan Society is the world’s oldest vegan charity, first coining the term “vegan” in 1944. Raising the profile of veganism has always been a key focus of The Vegan Society, and that remains true today. Each year, the Society help more people go vegan and stay vegan, using a positive approach to work towards their future vision – a world in which humans do not exploit other animals.
With over 65,000 products registered worldwide, the Vegan Society’s Vegan Trademark is the most recognised vegan certification globally, helping people identify that a product is free from animal ingredients since 1990. The Trademark’s rigorous standards give consumers confidence that their purchase contains only vegan ingredients and hasn’t been subject to animal testing.
